Our style is cinematic and we like to capture your day as it naturally unfolds. Have a look at the amazing films in the different sections under the Cinematography menu tab to get a better understanding of our style and approach to filming.
We have vast experience filming Asian weddings including Sikh, Muslim, Hindu and Tamil as well as Civil Weddings and traditional Church Weddings. Optional Extras
Crane - This is the most popular add on. A full size crane with remote control pan and tilt head. We have been using a crane at wedding venues and gurdwaras since 2009. Amazing swooping shots are achieved with the crane. Particularly useful for capturing the couple entrance, cake cutting, first dance and dancing. Amazing shots can also be achieved for sikh and hindu wedding ceremonies but this depends on the venue or gurdwara. We have used it at the following gurdwaras to great effect -
Guru Nanak Darbar, Gravesend
Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Bedford
Guru Nanak Sikh Academy, Hayes
Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall (Havelock Road)
Sri Guru Singh Sabha Slough
Ramgharia Gurdwara Slough
This is a large piece of equipment so may not be suitable for all venues depending on the ceiling height / obstructions and floor room available. We are fully insured and have health and safety policies in place and will liase with your venue or event manager to provide copies of any necessary documents.
Drone - This has become a particularly popular add on over the last 2-3 years. It's possible to achieve some amazing cinematic shots with a drone that simply are not possible by any other means. Great for capturing establishing shots of the venue, arrival of the bharat and guests, outdoor ceremonies (eg the milnis) and the couple shoot.
Sikh Wedding Cinematography
For engagement events and pre wedding parties the one cinematographer option is our recommended option. The average video length is 60-90 mins for the Kurmai, 90-120 mins for the Chunni and the same for pre wedding parties (maiya, choora, jago).
For the wedding day, one cinematographer starts at the grooms house and one at the brides house. They meet at the Gurdwara where there may also be a third cinematographer or crane operator. This format is also adopted for the reception. Finishing with the dolhi ceremony and paani var. The full movie is on average 4-5 hours long.
Muslim Wedding Cinematography
For the mehndhi party the one cinematographer option is the most popular by far. The full movie for the mehndhi party is usually 90-120 mins.
For the wedding day, one cinematographer starts with bridal preparations. A second cinematographer will either start with the groom's preparations or capture the venue details shots and guests arriving. Usually finish wih the Rukhsati from the venue. Average video length is 60-120mins.
For the walimah, the one or two cinematographer option are equally popular. Average video length is 60-120mins.
Hindu and Tamil Hindu Wedding Cinematography
For the wedding day, one cinematographer starts with bridal preparations. A second cinematographer will start with the groom's preparations or capture the venue details shots and guests arriving. A popular option is to also have a crane operator to capture the ceremony, and reception. Average video length is 3-5 hours.
