The Sikh wedding ceremony took place at the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend Kent. It's a stunning building and it's the largest Gurdwara outside of India. A magnificent temple with a serene atmosphere. A perfect venue for the Sikh wedding ceremony and an epic venue for us to film at. Vik arrived in his stunning Arctic White Jaguar and made a dramatic entrance to the beat of dhol and dance. Captured from air by our drone pilot.
It was such a touching moment when Mandy's dad performed the Palla ceremony, where with the wedding scarf he tethered the bride and groom symbolising their life long bond before they did the Lavan ceremony.
The Sikh wedding reception took place a week later at the O2 Intercontinental Hotel in the heart of historic Royal Greenwich and right next to the O2. It's set on the riverside with spectacular views of the London skyline which were the perfect backdrop for the celebratory fireworks display.

Preeti & Tal - Sikh Wedding Cinematography
The Anand Karaj (Sikh wedding ceremony) took place at the magnificent Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Bedford. Having previously covered both Preeti's sibling's weddings at this gurdwara, it was an honour to be asked back to cover Preeti's wedding and to see so many familiar faces as well as new additions. As Preeti walked into the gurdwara wedding hall dressed in a stunning hot pink bridal dress and took her place, she literally took Tal's breath away.
The Sikh wedding reception took place at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Milton Keynes. Catering by Preeti (not the bride!), the food was great. Unknown to Preeti, Tal had arranged a surprise guest singer - Kulwinder Billa. For those of you who don't know, he's a famous singer from India with hits including "timetable".
An emotional dholi took place as Preeti departed from her parent's home before being welcomed into Tal's family home.

Amun and Taj - Sikh Wedding Cinematography
Another amazing wedding Sikh wedding we shot over at the Gravesend Gurdwara. Yes we do cover a lot of weddings every year at this magnificent Gurdwara! The format of their wedding day was a little different as the dholi (the bride's "goodbye" as she leaves her family home to start her new married life) and paani vaar ceremonies (the groom's family welcoming a new member to their home) took place after the Sikh wedding ceremony and civil wedding with the reception held in the evening.
The Sikh wedding reception was held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, Central London. For those of you familiar with London, it's located just north of Marble Arch on Edgeware Road close to the Maryleborne Flyover. The wedding reception took place in the Monarch Suite which is a vast area nearly 200ft in length. The Suite is space age with its starlit ceiling and sophisticated lighting system.
There was so much to entertain the guests during the cocktail hour including a brilliant harpist, a chocolate fountain, a fun dress up photo booth as well as an array of drinks and canapes. Amun had been completely transformed from her wedding look, she wore an elegant white wedding dress with rich Indian influence embroidery and a flowing train. Taj was dashing in his oxford blue tailored suit with matching bow tie.
The boys of drumline performed some amazing and unique drum pieces during the party and check out Taj's stage dive (in slo mo) - it was an epic wedding reception!

This was followed in the afternoon by the reception at Meridian Grand, a truly epic venue.
