Bhavik and Kajal held their Hindu wedding at the Northbrook Wedding Venue and it was a beautiful and culturally rich affair. Northbrook Wedding Venue is known for its picturesque setting and elegant facilities, making it an ideal location for their celebration.

As guests arrived, they were greeted with traditional Indian hospitality and welcomed into the venue's stunning entrance area. The venue was adorned with colourful floral decorations, incorporating vibrant red, yellow, and orange, which are commonly associated with Hindu weddings.

Bhavik made his grand and very lively entrance with energetic dancing by the bharaat accompanied by dhol and musicians (Band baja).

​

The main outside ceremony area was set up with a mandap—a canopy-like structure (Sai Mandaps) under which the wedding rituals take place. The mandap was beautifully decorated with flowers, and intricate designs, creating an enchanting atmosphere.

The actual wedding ceremony, known as the "Vivaha," took place within the mandap. The couple, dressed in traditional attire were seated under the canopy, surrounded by close family members and the wedding officiant, who conducted the rituals and blessings.

The ceremony consisted of various customs and traditions, such as the exchange of garlands between the bride and groom, known as "Jaimala.". Throughout the ceremony, traditional Hindu chants, prayers, and mantras would be recited, creating a spiritual and serene ambiance. Guests would witness the sacred rituals and offer their blessings to the couple, showering them with flowers and well wishes.

After the completion of the wedding ceremony, Bhavik and Kajal were congratulated by their family and friends. This was followed by a happy “Vidai” ceremony.

The venue's spacious inside reception area had earlier been transformed into a vibrant and lively space for the wedding reception. The reception featured lively music (DJ Kabir), dancing, and joyful celebrations. The guests joined in on the dance floor, enjoying popular Bollywood songs and traditional folk dances. The professional sound and lighting systems (Farnham Sound and Light) would enhance the festive atmosphere, creating a truly memorable experience.

Delicious Indian cuisine was served throughout the reception courtesy of Laguna UK, with a wide array of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.

​

Overall, their Hindu wedding at Northbrook Wedding Venue was a grand and joyous occasion, blending age-old traditions with modern elegance. The venue's enchanting ambiance and top-notch facilities provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable celebration of love, culture, and togetherness.
